Congratulations on selecting Lace Village as the location of your next apartment home. We’re glad you decided to act early and secure your place in History at the historic Lace Village. By signing below you understand that you are applying for an apartment at Lace Village, with a tentative availability date of November 1, 2023 for the Office Lofts and Nottingham Apartments. You also understand that this date is subject to change pending construction completion and the City of Scranton Building Department issuing the final Certificates of Occupancy.
Step 1: Submit Application/Rental Hold Deposit – An application and application fee, in the amount of $60.00 is required for each occupant over the age of 18. A $250.00 rental hold deposit secures your position for your chosen unit during the application review for a residence located at Lace Village, 1315 Meylert Ave, Scranton, PA 18509 – the order of the units reserved is strictly based on the order in which we receive your hold deposit along with this signed Pre-Lease Reservation Agreement. Please understand we have received well over 200 inquiry forms via our website over the last year so interest is extremely high.
If you are one of the first 32 people to place a rental hold deposit, you will be first on the list for an apartment of your choice when construction is complete. You must then meet the rental criteria, outlined in the Rental Application and Lease Terms in order to guarantee your unit. If you are not the first on the list for a particular unit and the person ahead of you drops out you will automatically move up on the list for that unit. Prospective tenants will be invited to tour the building, check out the views and select both the floor level, floor-plan and finishes of their new apartment home.
By signing below you understand that your $60.00 application fee is non-refundable and your $250.00 rental hold deposit is refundable ONLY in the event that you do not meet Lace Village’s rental criteria or the agreed upon unit is not available within 30 days of its promised date as set forth in the lease.
Step 2: Lease Signing – Upon official availability of your desired unit, you will be notified and required to commit to an official move in date and sign a lease within 1 week of notification. We will need you to sign a Lease Agreement and at that point your $250.00 rental hold deposit will be applied toward your refundable security deposit2.
